Today was a" super nanny day", as in my kids behavior would have qualified me for the show for sure. Denver was kicking and screaming and hitting me all the way into the church for scouts. He was screaming so loud he was inconsolable. That fit lasted about a half an hour. Kai decided throw a huge fit also. Running and screaming around the house naked because he didn't want to get in the tub. Then Denver finished off the night with another huge fit because he didn't get his way. I don't know how I survived this day, but I was really proud of myself that I didn't lose my temper. Today was a hard day.

Kai is a holy terror in sacrament meeting. He screams a high pitched squeal when he is happy. He kicks and screams and yells when he doesn't get his way. He throws things and hides under the bench. He is so loud that he has to be taken all the way outside, not just in the lobby. I told Mom about this the other day and she laughed and said she remembered the days. She said I should enjoy them cause they go by so fast. I'm really trying to take her advice, but I don't think I would mind if sacrament meeting went by a little faster.

Denver's 4th Birthday is a Toy Story Theme. He is really into Buzz and Woody. Denver is talking so much now. He is really into pretend play. He drags his stuffed animals around all day asking me if I want to play house, tea party, kitchen, school etc..... He is in a really cute stage and I'm trying to live in the moment and enjoy it.

I found Kai fast asleep on the kitchen floor. He was wearing Denver's Buzz lightyear costume and he was so darn cute I had to take a picture.
Kai is defiantly coming into the terrible two's. He has developed the super sonic scream, he bites, and is not afraid to throw a punch. He has turned into a daddy's boy and screams every time Jim leaves the room. Sacrament meetings are a real treat,(lol) when Jim is playing the organ.
I'm trying really hard to remember that this to0 shall pass, and it is only a phase. He is still my sweet little boy, who lights up my day with his smile.
Denver is also giving me a run for my money. Denver has learned the power of words and usually goes around the house saying I love you Mommy and singing I'm a child of god. But today I left a friends house with Denver under my arm in the football hold, while he is kicking and screaming I hate you mommy! Oh what Joy!
We are slowly but surely getting ready for school to begin. We just have to buy school uniforms and then we are done. Ethan and Brayden are very excited to check out their new school building. They are overjoyed that they will have a gym to have P.E. in, instead of the parking lot in 110 degree weather.
Jim was at D.I. the other day and bought a $5.00 back pack for Ethan to use at school. After he bought it he realized inside was a 4gb Ipod Classic( that plays movies). He went and talked to the store and they said it was his because he purchased the back pack. It works great. (not bad for 5 bucks)
