Today was a" super nanny day", as in my kids behavior would have qualified me for the show for sure. Denver was kicking and screaming and hitting me all the way into the church for scouts. He was screaming so loud he was inconsolable. That fit lasted about a half an hour. Kai decided throw a huge fit also. Running and screaming around the house naked because he didn't want to get in the tub. Then Denver finished off the night with another huge fit because he didn't get his way. I don't know how I survived this day, but I was really proud of myself that I didn't lose my temper. Today was a hard day.

Brayden's Baptism was wonderful. Thank you so much to everyone who came. It really meant a lot to Brayden and to us. The weather was so nice. It was 75 degrees and we all got to enjoy the new grass in our backyard. Amy thought The people were funny in their hats, boots and gloves when it cooled down to 60 degrees at night. What a fun weekend.

We had such a fun time in Legoland

Brayden invited a few friends to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate his 8th Birthday. We are so blessed to have Brayden in our family. He loves to create and build things. He likes math and is a good student. He is a thoughtful and sweet little boy. We are so happy you were born into our family.

Mr. Potato head Woody and Buzz

Denver's Birthday Party
Kai is a holy terror in sacrament meeting. He screams a high pitched squeal when he is happy. He kicks and screams and yells when he doesn't get his way. He throws things and hides under the bench. He is so loud that he has to be taken all the way outside, not just in the lobby. I told Mom about this the other day and she laughed and said she remembered the days. She said I should enjoy them cause they go by so fast. I'm really trying to take her advice, but I don't think I would mind if sacrament meeting went by a little faster.
I think I need a new section of my blog just for Denver's sayings. I will call them Denver-isms.
Yesterday as we went through the car wash, Denver gasped and said "Oh were taking a shower!
He will randomly say "You're my best Mommy ever."

This was the stake youth activity. Only in Buckeye Arizona would they flood a patch of desert and let the kids go crazy playing in it.
I was getting ready to cut Denver's hair last night. I put him on the stool and got out my clippers and scissors. When he saw the scissors he said "Oh Mommy not my curls!" "I will be so sad at you if you cut off my curls!" I thought it was so cute I had to share.

Denver's 4th Birthday is a Toy Story Theme. He is really into Buzz and Woody. Denver is talking so much now. He is really into pretend play. He drags his stuffed animals around all day asking me if I want to play house, tea party, kitchen, school etc..... He is in a really cute stage and I'm trying to live in the moment and enjoy it.

Ethan has been in Flag Football for the charter school. It is their first year and they are playing kids a lot bigger and older than they are. Ethan worked hard and tried not to get discouraged. I told him to hang in there and next year will be better.

If you haven't heard yet.... Marianne found my camera. So these are some pictures from the reunion. Enjoy!

I found Kai fast asleep on the kitchen floor. He was wearing Denver's Buzz lightyear costume and he was so darn cute I had to take a picture.
Kai is defiantly coming into the terrible two's. He has developed the super sonic scream, he bites, and is not afraid to throw a punch. He has turned into a daddy's boy and screams every time Jim leaves the room. Sacrament meetings are a real treat,(lol) when Jim is playing the organ.
I'm trying really hard to remember that this to0 shall pass, and it is only a phase. He is still my sweet little boy, who lights up my day with his smile.
Denver is also giving me a run for my money. Denver has learned the power of words and usually goes around the house saying I love you Mommy and singing I'm a child of god. But today I left a friends house with Denver under my arm in the football hold, while he is kicking and screaming I hate you mommy! Oh what Joy!
We are slowly but surely getting ready for school to begin. We just have to buy school uniforms and then we are done. Ethan and Brayden are very excited to check out their new school building. They are overjoyed that they will have a gym to have P.E. in, instead of the parking lot in 110 degree weather.
Jim was at D.I. the other day and bought a $5.00 back pack for Ethan to use at school. After he bought it he realized inside was a 4gb Ipod Classic( that plays movies). He went and talked to the store and they said it was his because he purchased the back pack. It works great. (not bad for 5 bucks)
